The Acco
Rexel 250 S5 high security shredder normally retails for £1249
but it is available from ABT for much less. The 250 S5 is ideal
for the small office environment, around 3 to 4 users. The 250
shredder has a 7-9 sheet capacity, and will destroy sensitive
documents into tiny unreadable 0.8x11mm cross cut pieces at a
very fast and efficient 8.5meters per min.
It comes equipped with an active safety barrier to prevent any
accidents as well as thermal overload protection to prevent the
motor from being burnt out through overuse.A large 80 litre bin
and the extremely small cut size means that it can hold hundreds
of sheets of shredded waste before it need to be emptied. It also
has a large 260mm entry width which makes it easier to feed the
documents when shredding.
This high security shredder is powered by a 300
watt motor weighs 43Kgs and is 695mm high and 440mm x 320mm wide.

The Acco
Rexel 1400 S5 high security shredder has the same cross cut
size as the 250 S5. It shreds sensitive documents into tiny 0.8x11mm
pieces but at a slightly slower 4 meters a minute. It also has
an 80 litre bin which can hold hundreds of sheets of shredded
paper. All in all it’s a little bit bigger in size than
the Acco Rexel 250 S5. It is available from ABT at a very low
online price.
