Rexel RDS 2050 Mercury Shredder | Acco Rexel RDX 1750 Mercury
Shredder
The Acco Rexel RDS 2050 Mercury shredder and
the Acco Rexel RDX 1750 Mercury shredder both
have the unique patented anti jam technology found in the Mercury
shredder series. The RDS 2050 and RDX 1750 are both stylishly
designed and have the added bonus of being able to shred staples,
paper clips, credit cards and even CDs.
The Acco Rexel RDS 2050 Mercury shredder has a shred capacity
of up to 20 sheets and should you try and shred too many sheets
at once the anti-jam technology will kick in and the shredder
throat will light up red warning you that if you proceed a paper
jam is likely. All you would need to do would be to remove a few
sheets and re feed the shredder. The RDS 2050 is the strip cut
version, which destroys paper documents into thin 4mm long spaghetti
like strips meaning that it’s a security level 2 shredder,
which is great for shredding everyday items that may contain possible
sensitive information.
If you want and need a higher level of security around the office
or home then the Acco Rexel RDX 1750 will be your best bet. This
crosscut security level 3 shredder will reduce up to 17 sheets
of paper in a single go into tiny 4x45mm confetti like pieces.
Both these Mercury shredders come with a 5 year
warranty on the cutting head and have a large 50 litre bin capacity.
