The Acco Rexel RDS 2050 Mercury shredder has a shred capacity of up to 20 sheets and should you try and shred too many sheets at once the anti-jam technology will kick in and the shredder throat will light up red warning you that if you proceed a paper jam is likely. All you would need to do would be to remove a few sheets and re feed the shredder. The RDS 2050 is the strip cut version, which destroys paper documents into thin 4mm long spaghetti like strips meaning that it’s a security level 2 shredder, which is great for shredding everyday items that may contain possible sensitive information.

If you want and need a higher level of security around the office or home then the Acco Rexel RDX 1750 will be your best bet. This crosscut security level 3 shredder will reduce up to 17 sheets of paper in a single go into tiny 4x45mm confetti like pieces.
