The Acco Rexel RDS 2270 Mercury shredder and the Acco Rexel RDX 1970 Mercury shredder are currently the largest available shredding machines in the Acco Rexel Mercury shredder range. With a larger 70 litre bin and powerful yet quiet motor, these shredders will make light work of all your paper shredding needs.

As with other Mercury shredders they come with the patented anti jam technology that helps prevent those irritating and messy moments when too much paper is inserted into the shredder causing those all too common paper jams.

These stylishly designed and compact office shredders have the added bonus of being able to shred through paper clips, staples, credit cards and even CDs.

Choose the Acco Rexel RDS 2270 Mercury shredder if you want a strip cut shredder or want to save a little more time by shedding more sheets at once. The RDS 2270 will reduce up to 22 sheets of paper at once (depending on the thickness) into thin 4mm strips. If you want a higher level of security then the RDX 1970 crosscut version, which is a security level 3 shredder will shred up to 17 sheets into small 4x45mm pieces.
