After extensive research the Rexel Mercury shredder range has been developed which are equipped with unique technology. The paper entry slot is brightly lit up and glows red to warn someone if they are trying to shred too much in one go, and at the same time it prevents the shredder from starting whereby preventing paper jams.

Rexel Mercury Shredders use continuous flow technology which senses the amount of paper to prevent jams and in doing so eliminates shredder mess and wasted time that is usually the result of the dreaded paper jam.

Mercury shredders not only shred paper but are capable of shredding staples, paperclips, credit cards or CDs and come in either cross cut or strip cut formats.
