The Acco Rexel RSS 1830, Acco Rexel RSS 2230 and Acco Rexel RSX
1530 Mercury shredders all come with a unique patented anti jam
technology. The RSS 1830 and RSS 2230 are both strip cut shredders
and vary in the amount of sheets they can shred in a single go,
and the size of the shredded strips.
The Acco
Rexel RSS 1830 will shred up to 18 sheets in a single
go, while the more powerful Acco
Rexel RSS 2230 will handle as many as 22 sheets per
a pass. The cross cut version, the Acco
Rexel RSX 1530 can shred up to 15 sheets at once.
All three of these shredders will sense whether or not you are
about to over feed the machine with paper and will light up red
around the throat entrance to warn you, whereby preventing any
irritating paper jams.
Out of the two strip cut mercury shredders, the RSS 1830 Mercury
shredders will provide you with a slightly higher level of security
because it slices documents into thinner 4mm strips whereas the
RSS 2230 Mercury shredder will shred paper into 6mm thin ribbon
like pieces.
These Mercury shredders all have a 30 litre waste paper bin ,look
stylish, and have the added bonus of being able to shred staples,
paper clips, credit cards and even CDs!
They have also been designed to be quieter than most other shredders
too, making them ideal for the office environment.
